Our Commitment to Environmental Responsibility

Quest Systems is committed to supporting environmental sustainability across all areas of our operations. As part of this commitment, we work to ensure that electrical and electronic equipment supplied to the Irish market is managed responsibly throughout its lifecycle.

We comply with the requirements of the European Union Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2014, which require producers of electrical and electronic equipment to finance the collection, treatment, recycling, and environmentally sound disposal of WEEE.

By participating in these initiatives, we help ensure that electronic waste is handled safely and responsibly, reducing its impact on the environment.

WEEE Recycling & Take-Back

In line with the WEEE Regulations, Quest Systems supports the take-back and responsible recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.

These regulations require producers of electrical and electronic equipment to finance the take-back of WEEE resulting from products placed on the Irish market. This helps ensure that electronic waste is reused or recycled safely wherever possible.

Quest Systems will take back WEEE from customers where appropriate. If you require further information about returning electrical equipment for recycling, please contact our team and we will be happy to assist.

Responsible Disposal of Electrical Equipment

Electronic equipment should never be disposed of in general waste.

Products marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicate that they must not be disposed of in standard household or commercial waste. Instead, these products should be collected separately and sent to authorised recycling or treatment facilities.

WEEE can contain hazardous substances which, if not handled correctly, may cause environmental pollution or harm to human health. Ensuring that electrical waste is properly collected and treated helps reduce these risks and supports the recovery of valuable materials.
